| Description of the problem | Fuel smells from the tank fuel. It sometimes leaks and marks can be seen on the ground. The smell is worse when i put full tank of gas. The smell is so strong that i have to park the car far from the house to avoid endangering my family since the smell can get into the house if the car is parked in my garage. Driving in such condition puts me at risk since the smell is so bothersome. I have had to roll the window down even in very cold weather in order to get fresh air. I went to a mercedes dealership where they suggested that the tank was the problem and it needed to be replace at my cost. According to them, it was not my fault that the tank had issues but they refused to pay for it. |
